Jeanette art picJeanette Purkis is the Autistic author of ‘Finding a Different Kind of Normal: Misadventures with Asperger Syndrome’ – an autobiography, and ‘The Wonderful World of Work: A Workbook for Asperteens.’ Jeanette works full-time in Government administration. She gives talks about living well with Autism in a variety of forums, including TEDx.

Jeanette’s Story:

Jeanette has been very driven in the last 15 years to make a big difference.  She hopes to make a big difference and help a lot of people on the autism spectrum. Having a variety of diagnosis, Jeanette was spending a lot of time in hospitals and she realized that mental health and autism is greatly misunderstood. She wanted to write this book very much hoping it will help people on the autism spectrum.
